Before ignorance and corruption can further ruin the little left worldwide goodwill towards Sri Lankan,GoSL
must scrap Mihin Air which is a total burden on the people of Sri Lanka.Does the general public of Sri Lanka need this
garbage carrier in the skies? Ceo s of the badly bruised and tattered Mihin have already made their bucks,or will they not be satisfied until they pull down Sri Lankan too?
Its time the Supreme Court intervened and gave a ruling on this issue,in the text that Public funds are being missapropriated.

SRI LANKAN AIRLINES has a clean safety record as well as the Colombo International Airport.
Many Airline Companies send their personnel to Colombo as trainees in different fields. This is due to their confidence in our country's safety records.
If we buy antique aircrafts to keep MIHIN AIR afloat, this confidence will vanish like vapor.
No trainees will land in Sri Lanka!
No foreign airlines will bring tourists to Sri Lanka.
May be foreign airports will be banned to our National Carrier - the SRI LANKAN AIRLINES.
Many disasters will befall on the country's economy, already hard hit, because some top officials of the 'defunct' MIHIN AIR want to FLY TO DEATH AT ANY COST!!

MIHIN AIR officials must 'lease' or 'buy' these 2 antique airlines as soon as possible, before any other buyer.
Land them at the IRANAMADU tiger airport.
Make a kind gesture of friendship and present these 2 aircrafts ...to the LTTE.
(It seems that the tigers are short of airplanes to drop cow dung bombs against the GOSL).
Organize a fully paid goodwill voyage to Norway for the tiger leadership including its leader VP!
The planes will crash land some minutes after take off due to their old age!
Its the best way to get rid of the tiger butcher gang.

It is learnt that Mihin is negotiating for these aircraft in the full knowledge that they are flouting the Civil Aviation Authority guidelines.

This is like buying food that is out of date. It usually does not damage those who are immune to normal wear and tear.

But what this indicates is that to the Person in presidential seat - Sri Lankans do not deserve world class. There is a saying in Tamil - Puli pasithaalum Pul thinnathu - Tiger would not eat grass even when it is hungry/starved.

That says it all - even in terms of Tigers

Aruma,

On the other hand a skilled trainer would need little material to train. As my aunty Mrs. Pathma Sanmugarajah often said - if you have good material use simple patern. If the material is simple use more stylish pattern.

The tussle between TMVP leader Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan and UPFA Muslim leader M.L.A.M. Hizbullah for the hotly contested post of the Eastern Provincial Council Chief Minister intensified yesterday after the preference votes were counted and the victorious UPFA council members were named.

Voodoo,

What about Lions

Sinhalese have the responsibility to find their own 'catch-phrases' about lions - unless you want Tamils to do that also.

Britain is on the verge of deporting LTTE rebel leader Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan alias Col Karuna to Colombo after he was prematurely released from prison last week. Karuna, an embarrassment to the British government from the time it was known that he had travelled to Britain on a Sri Lankan diplomatic passport issued under another name

He is expected to be put on a flight to Colombo, mostly likely on SriLankan Airlines, Sri Lanka s national carrier which is the only one flying direct to Colombo from here. Sri Lanka authorities here or in Colombo are likely to be given short notice of his deportation, if at all, out of courtesy.
