Correction LTTE will try to remove Pillian soon . Not that they havent been trying . If it is that easy they would have done it a long time ago .
Pillian is an LTTE commander himself who obviously has a lot of loyal followers . |

When Karuna was there, he went after LTTE pockets and cleared them.
Once Pilleyan came, those confrontations ended.
Perhaps they invested him.
May be they may go for searching the profit now..!

im sure they would have. remeber the incident in colombo? when 10? of the higest ranking/very important 'karuna cadres' were taken to a safe house in an apartment complex run by the sl military intelligence?
and then in the middle of the night two of those 'karuna caders' shot the other 8 along with their MI handler took their sim-cards(along with MI numbers/contacts and stuff)and escaped back to vanni?
so there is no doubt that there will be sleeper agents.

dude andy if you want to go ahead and believe the punnakku that eastern people support him.lol if that is the case why did the vast majority of the ltte cadres from the east never sided with him and karuna? hell...even karun's second in command deserted him.
Velir Either I am eating GOSL punnaku or you are eating LTTE punnaku. but He defected a long time ago . The LTTE hasnt been able to touch him .
You remember what they did to mahattaya ? Why couldn't they do the same to him ? Obviously because he has a lot of loyalty in the ranks. What ever you say about the elections a lot of Tamils voted for him too. If you know any thing about Sri Lankan elections there are always issues but they are never to the level it completely changes the out come. So for him to win the Tamil vote means there is a lot of hope among the common people about him too.
It will be up to the GOSL to make sure he does not screw that up and also protect him at the same time. |

im pretty sure that they might have weakened the karuna-faction and helped the pillayan faction gain the upper hand...or even more likely ..just stood back and watched karuna being kicked out by his second in command..and everyone especially the eastern people saw how their so called 'saviors' fought over the % of money:)).
in fact..karuna and pillayan openly argued about the money :)).lol
the tigers would have had a laugh while these two's fighting canceled any 'for the eastern people' image the karuna/pillayan/gosl had cultivated.

lol he is an investment all right they gain even more support from the eastern people because of pillayan's actions.

you are totally confused!
mahathaya was caught while in the same base prabha was in.lol in fact he was arrested right away.
Karuna on the other hand was far away and had a small gang that was in on the kappam racket. and furthermore he had been in contact/had a escape route setup with the help of the sl army.
u know how 'fast' the east fell when the tigers attacked karuna after he defected right?..how long was it? 2 days? 3 days?.lol
so much for loyalty!

why dont you listen to the complains filed against the eastern elections by the monitors?. and why was the western media banned? if this election was free and fair they need not have done any of these. lol

I dont know how old you are and how many elections in SL you have been involved in . I have worked in many and in every one there is a lot of talk about vote rigging(in some cases there is some of it) and such but it rarely comes to the level that it provided this type of swing . (as was seen here)
I consider it like the losing cricket captains complaining about umpiring . just being sore losers. |
