why those idoits they dont go to india and ask for a preelam or dreamland or disnyland or whatever. it is the origin of LTTE not SL.

what a strange turn of events indeed...they are all 'supposedly' (i hate to egneralize though) 'so calm' now even when the Ltte is here BUT were doing just the opposite before the ltte was formed.

srilanka is a clear case of confusion between the terms of majoritarianism and democracy thus became a kind of totalitarianism constitutionally and practically.
they should have forgot the differences on ethnic lines politically once it signed up for the independence to uphold the values of democracy, secularism and pluralism, instead they built a Buddhist state by taking advantage of their numerical superiority.
now they blame us of being racist not them!

In 1983, Sinhala people killed tamils because LTTE wanted to so.
since then tamils are killing Sinhalas and Sinhala people don't do the same in revenge.
That proves tamils deserved the KRT treatment they got in 1983,and they are hither to barbarians. |

yes you could not have said better. Most Sinhala people take it for granted that buddhism and Sinhalese ought to be given pride of the place' BUT that is contrary to democratic principles.
in fact sometimes i see no difference between the push for a Buddhist-Sinhala centric lanka and the Taleban's push for an islamic caliphate.

where was the ltte in 1956 when the tamils were protesting in the galle-face using gandhian methods of non-violence?
where was the ltte when the 1958 anti tamil pogroms and the ones in the 60s and 70s happened?

In Canada English are in majority. An English PM does not have the power of dismissing the elected leader (Premier) of French speaking local council or the Provincial Government.
But they have made everybody talk English and kneel in front of the English queen.
That is applicable to any earthling who comes to Canada. |
