A clash erupted inside the Trincomalee District Secretariat where votes are being counted. Reporters at the site say the incident occurred between supporters of two political parties. Police were making attempts to defuse the situation.

Trinco District: Valid Votes 7,943
Total population of Trinco District = 412,000 (approx)
Let us assume 60 of this can vote. Then,
Total vote bank in Trinco district = 247,000
So, the % of people voted for the MR-P circus = 7943/247000 = 3.2%
Now, not only VP but the whole world will laugh!

Another defeat for UNP in the EAST. Winners are those Tamils and Muslims who quest for peace.
No it is a greater defeat to democracy and good governance!

Batti, all 3 seats won by United People's Freedom Alliance.
Winning margin is high and even you put away 10% - 15% for irregularities, still UPFA is on the seat.
Election violence is visible, but just after the war, a COOL and SMOOTH transition is a too optimistic dream.
Even GOSL face to null this election, the outcome is a win for general public.

Breaking News from Rupavahini:
Mr. President just phoned the Leader of the Opposition Mr. Ranil Wickramasignhe and said ' I will see you in 4 years, Buddy'.
When he heard that Mr. Wickramasinghe just jumped off the Siri Kotha roof where he was dancing expecting a victory.
Mr. Wickramasinghe and and UNP lost so many elections it is hard to keep a count.
It is also reported that a Human Rights organization just shipped two containers loads of Adult Diapers to Vanni.
