The United People's Freedom Alliance polled the most number of postal votes in the Disrict of Ampara. The UPFA got 4722 votes (55.24%) while the UNP polled 3401 votes (39.79%) and the People's LIberation Front (JVP) 353 votes.

UNP won the election hurray


Mahinda won by making it happen.

Srilanka won by defeating, chasing Terras out of East.

Bush won by declaring war against terrorists.

World won by watching that terrorists cant win.
