We just witnessed a hugh crowd of supporter with Mr. Ranil Wickramasignhe dancing on the roof top of their headquarters 'Siri Kotha'.
Mr. Wickramasinghe has declared that he and his UNP are the winners of Provincial Council Elections, 2008.
Follow up Breaking NEws.
Roof came Down. Ranil Fell down to the Ground. then he understood he was dreaming.
That is end of the Election win for him. |

17 independent groups didn't get a single vote.
What happened to their leaders and supporters, even they didn't vote for themselves?
Mahinda just got 17 deposits from these guys.
This what we call 'Apeath Cancell'.

thats just a ploy by mahinda to show that the democratic process is 'vibrant' in the east..saying 'look so many parties participating' :P
either way..is it true that ranil won?

This is democracy in action!
They held elections, people voted. We are waiting for results. What more democratic can it be?
