If Kokila Gunawardene is deported from U.K,

UK govt wanted to deport Mr. Kokila gunawardane because UK did not want to spend more money on his security.

but, he has been holding inside the Immigration Detention center as his British wife has obstructed the deportation.

there won't be any WAR- Criminal charges against him as the PRO-LTTE Human right ORGANIZATIONS wanted.

60 percent voter turnout

The Elections Commissioners department says a 60 percent overall voter turnout was reported from the provincial council polls in the East.

60% percent voter turn out is excellent.

Even in politically stable western countries voter turn out is about 55%. In lower councils it is about 40% or lower in the West.

IT says, some people did not come to vote because of rumours of LTTE violence.
