This ship was loaded with explosives to be transported to Jaffna and destroy the areas and the people over there. By sinking of this ship without human losses must be praised by any right thinking Sri Lankan as destruction of a part or a province of Sri Lanka is averted and 100s of citizens were saved.
Well done.
The human deaths, wastage of money and destruction of the country must be stopped forthwith and the building of the country started immediately. Both sides waste millions of dollars in this wasteful war intended to oppress a section of the people. The president must abandoned this madness of 'war for peace' and embark on 'peace for harmony'. |

In democratic sri lanka university entrance marks are based on race , not on measurable merit basis / scientific basis.
I agree , Sri lanka still failed democracy
Yes this is true, I know a tamil guy who was did very bad at the A/L bcz he said so , but the out-coming marks were so high even he could not believe, so it's no secret anymore that Tamil students get higher marks than Sinhala students bcz of the tamil medium administration. This is a OLD story! but very True,
Also to a lot's of tamil people who are abroad with their Doctorates this was the path |

Canadian Tamil leaders are hell bent on supporting LTTE terror in Sri Lanka.
'Earlier that year, Tamil leaders lashed out at a Human Rights Watch report that said fundraisers were shaking down Tamils. Focusing on HRW's finding that people were afraid to report extortion, Canadian Tamil Congress spokesperson David Poopalapillai said, 'This report makes me sick because it is saying that we are covering something up and our community is living in fear.' At a CTC press conference, Tamils denied there were fundraising drives to support the guerrillas.
'The RCMP probe suggests otherwise. As a result, Tamil leaders have a credibility issue on their hands - and some explaining to do.'

It takes a bit of talent on the part of those who pose as being concerned, not to have seen the plight of the people who have been trapped in the Vanni hell hole for donkey s years now.
The suffering among Vanni people has to be the flagship achievement of the LTTE and its investors in the Diaspora.
These leaches based abroad who are funding the murderous gangsters to maintain this fiefdom for the past three decades must be proud of their achievements in their Vanni vampire project.
