It was a logistics ship. I don't think the GOSL uses this route to transport weapons.
Yes ANuD everything is ok, no problem at all, losing one of only two logistics ships that helped you in your deep sea adventures, from your most secured naval base is no problem at all. :):) |

In US *you say* *some use* race - Unfortunately in srilanka all goverment institution uses race.Goverment institution in US they do not use race as a selection criteria.Also in US most of famous institution they do not put the race as their criteria |

LTTE can certainly make a case attacking a restaurant from a never attacked area or attacking a anchored - merchant ship.
If a 80 Meter ship is blasted & goes underwater in just 13 minutes, does it not reflect poor on the security aspects on the Port in a highly sensitive East area ?
Still you guys dont know how it got blasted. |

u obviously do not have any idea about the Trinco habor.
its a bay, a huge bay at that and the entry points into the bay are sealed with sln ship patrols underwater anti-frogman/anti sub netting..mines sonic sound-detectors...etc etc...
so if one gets inside it then he got inside it!.
btw as revy asked..what were all those 'high tech' sensors doing? |

well, in that case Iqbal Athas will hint us about the contents of the ship by tomorrow on his column.
But still, attack in the heart of trinco harbor is what the the important issues here.
I strongly feel that there were some music group around & all the naval boys attended for that party leaving the empty sea for tigers to attack the vessel.

Wrong answer, for 30 years we have put the grand Sinhala Buddhist project to steal the entire island for a Sinhala Buddhist caliphate on hold.
