Actually, India gets so many ships from all over the world for wrecking.

Even USA has many Old WAR - ships which are anchored in the pacific Coast and they are already decommisioned and destined for demolition.

If GOSL wants, GOSL can gets a few of those ships and renovate for use.

Most of those ships are sea worthy for decades if used only in short routes.
