Pillaiyan will learn soon what Varatharaja Perumal learned from then president JR -J. He was elected as the Chief Mnister of the N-E PC. He wanted to implement certain projects fior which he neither
1. had money nor
2. power.
So he asked Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi to urge JR-J to release money and give power to implement the projects. Gandhi wanted V-P to sort it out with JR-J. JR-J told V-P you wanted merged PC which is yours and that's all. V-P could not do anything, so he declared unilateral independence of Eelam. JR-J ordered the police to arrest V-P and he asked refuge from India and ever since lives in Orissa as a refugee with his family.
So Pillaiyan needs VP's help to survive than the other way about. This time India will not help this coolie, Pillaiyan.
So Pillaiyan will learn soon that MR will try to fool him or sack him if the former tries to be clever. MR has all the cards and keys and the real power is vested with the Sinhala president.

Wouldn't VP want to use this guy for something before he is of no use then ?
VP is unable to match a part of MR offer. A diplomatic passport and enough money to start a new life in UK after Karuna is settled. |

For your attention, this Adampan Town Centre used to be a vibrant place. You can draw parallel with Mississauga Town centre,.... if you want..! :P |

I don't know VP as much as you do. From what has been happening I would think that VP would not consider Pillaiyan for anything because the latter is a bigger fool than even Karuna. Pillaiyan is not capable of knowing that his former boss Karuna was fooled into a promise of East PC by MR and cast him as a humiliated prisoner that too in a foreign country. Pillaiyan doesn't know Karuana who was the LTTE leader of the East and headed peace negotiations is belittled as a prisoner after helping MR to seize the East from LTTE's hold. Do you think VP is a fool to retake this fool Pilaiyan.
(VP may be a hated figure for Sinhalese hardliners. He has been keeping an army of some 100,000 at bay for many years with, according to Sareth Fonseka with 1,500 cadres. Former Defense minister said that VP is a formidable military genious, that says it all) |
