you seems like a moderate sinhalese person, and you seems to think that peaceful settlement is possible with LTTE.
Look at Mr. Pandaram, he is a prime example of LTTE
mentality, do you think it is possible to negotiate with these people? We call peace loving sinhalese 'moderate', but they call them traitors and send their death squads
to get them. They are hell-bent on war, but only when they are ready, and they want time outs they are called peace talks. |

The way these guys going back and claiming things probably the Neanderthals and some before that can come back and ask for the 'HOME LAND' in some parts of the world....... |

Guys like MrPissubun are everywhere. I look at them as lost souls. Seen too much violence.. lost too many things and probably spent too much of personal wealth on the dream of EELam. It is understandable.
There is no peace possible with LTTE and VP. There is also no way GoSL can beat the LTTE militarily without a text book case of genocide against the tamils. No peace pacts or deals will hold beyond a few months. Only way is to cease fire and stop the offensive into LTTE strong holds for the sake of the innocent civilians, and be prepared to hold status quo for 10 - 15 years. You have to keep the DPU active hunting down terror king-pins only. Without the FEW king-pins, LTTE will disintegrate as a militia.
A democratically elected government will not have the juice to see it through. So I vote for a military rule in SL. (Not under Fonseka but someone with a different vision that sees tamils as sri lankans too.
There will be pain on both sides. There is no gain without pain. The only option is peace.

LTTE is turning to civilian targets in desperation to disrupt the ethnic harmony in the East. LTTE's objective is to provoke the Sinhales against Tamils like they have done repeatedly since 1983.

The reason and aim of this bomb blast, like the ones in Kepittikollawa, Piliyandala etc...etc... works and fully Achieved. brilliant GOSL DETs. As usual like all other blasts where sinhala, tamil and muslim people were killed there will not be an Impartial investigations. If any one dare to ask the GOSL for Investigations on this they will be designated as Terrorists and will be killed by the white van.
I just wanted to ask One of the member of LNP, who really beleives these blasts were really by LTTE, go to colombo and ask the GOSL for an impartial investigation into this. If you can't shut up and sitdown.
I beleive this is 1000% the work of GOSL no body else.
Because there will not be an Impartial investigation.
