Partisan fans at the Feroz Shah Kotla were treated to a cracker of a match as the Chennai Super Kings pulled off a dramatic last-ball win, sneaking past Delhi Daredevils' total of 187 for 5 by four wickets. Chennai's chase veered from the authoritative to the bumbling but they kept their nerves and put an end to their three-game losing streak, thanks largely to some fearless hitting right through the order.



Chennai is now back on Top of the Best teams in IPL.

Why dont these weera sooriya's airlift Rice from Myanmar through Mihin air instead of giving some lame excuses ?

Oh ! i forgot that Mihin is now without any craft .

'If there is severe rice shortage in Sri Lanka, India would definitely offer its assistance. India has 2.5 million tonnes of rice in their stores now and helping Sri Lanka in this regard will not be a problem for them at all,' R.A.D Ratnayake, secretary to the ministry of commerce and consumer affairs, said Thursday.

Sri Lanka is desperately seeking outside assistance to rescue itself from a possible rice crisis with efforts to import at least 100,000 tonnes of rice from Myanmar being badly hit due to Cyclone Nargis.



For next two months do they have to eat Punnakku ?

Right now there is no rice crisis in Sri Lanka. India will help us if real need arises. India also told us that they will reconsider their policy decision within the next two months,' Ratnayake said.

Prasad Sammarasinghe has been the PR Man of the Army for some years. Again he is holding a Diplomatic position with SL High Commisssion for he is an Admin. guy.
