Sansare,
Also, remember, when live with harmony, talking to each other is fair. Nothing bad about it.
If we were living in harmony we would not be needing this forum in its current form. It will be more like Lions Club.
We represent two separate sides and hence it is important to use common terminology except it is just about you and I as individuals.

Sansare,
If MR or other leaders are doing a wrong thing, they too will face same law, as Sirimao lost civil rights once
You mean you do not know whether or not MR has done wrong? Then who is to punich him? Not you - given that you don't even know whether he qualifies.

Gaja,
We represent two separate sides
You represent largely LTTE ideas, and there are lot of Tamil members here like you. But, I personally respect you all as Sri lankans and think talking with you people is very productive.
For me, I am against LTTE gun culture, but I am not a strong supporter for GOSL or Sinhala extreme groups. So, I write here freely and freely and strongly hope we can live in harmony.
While living in such an environment, still we can argue about issues.
Also, this is not a law forum and we should not bother about few words too much. But, its nice, if we can correct errors.
So, I write again,..
I am saying..!

I represent Tamils as do most other Tamil members in this forum each one from their own angles and levels. By saying it is LTTE - you are declaring that according to your calculations we are LTTE.
For me, I am against LTTE gun culture, but I am not a strong supporter for GOSL or Sinhala extreme groups. So, I write here freely and freely and strongly hope we can live in harmony.
So long as you have a common base in regards to gun culture - you are just. Not otherwise. Using your base I ought to be saying you are representing JVP ideas. I don't because I discriminate and separate as per the known. When you do likewise there is already harmony.
While living in such an environment, still we can argue about issues.
Not at the physical level or using physical level outcomes. The best at physical level is to divide and separate. You get all the passion and therefore the best results.
Also, this is not a law forum and we should not bother about few words too much.
To some of us law is part of everyday life - even social life.

100% wrong. JVP may have little bit of way I think. But, I only with the people those who have tough situations.
Thats why, I try to see even LTTE as an important section of our country, though I dont agree with some of its works.
(Sorry, I dont label you as a LTTE person, I just wrote, you as one of the people those who promote some ideas of LTTE). |

No need to apologise. I am with the Tigers. I just do not want you or anyone scoring points by using the terrorism lable that has been placed on the Tigers.
Those who seek quick victory do resort to such ways.

Gaja,

Those who seek quick victory do resort to such ways.
You move too fast and you may miss important elements for the success of future.
And you make short conclusions on others, that too not very fair.
Thats why you tihnk some (including me) are seeking quick victory.
I never expect a soon end for this (only expecting a soon end for war).
In my vocabulary end for this conflict must be a WIN-WIn one.

Sansare,
I am happy if talks started before war for Vanni start.
You are too young to know the insincerity and the duplicity of your leaders. They talk and sign agreements only to tear it under some pretext, could it be anti-Tamil riots, Supreme Court action or signing MoUs to get into power.
Yes, talk is important and is better than killing. Mahinda Rajapakse is learning as did Chandrika Kumarathunke Bandaranayake, but by the time they begin to undertand the destructive effects of war they come to the end of their terms.
CBK said after her presidency that she made a mistake in sacking Ranil Wickremasinghe and distrupted the talks that his ministers were about to have with LTTE. |
