GOSL have to pay everything to wanni people ...
Vanni is running today, with GOSL and some LTTE money, while by passing all rules and regulations of civil administration of Sri Lanka, except accepting money(including salary) and supply from the government and south private sector.

Rest of the tamils pay Taxes to the GOSL:(

If GOSL dont pay anything to wanni then IC can say its a different country and totally administrated by Tigers... To avoid been called as a separate country GOSL pays them.. :((

Every item been bought by every person GOSL earns money.. So GOSL have to pay them back.. nothing free.
can you tell us how much GOSL pays to wanni Govt servants and for other work.?

If LTTE has no-hidden agenda, they can ask IC to push GOSL for talks.

the moment the ltte does that then Keheliya will delcare that this is the time to press on with the attacks cos LTTE is weak :P

right now all what the tigers are doing is letting the military bash ts collective head against their defenses and are giving ground only inch by inch

how long will the lankan economy sustain this war? not for another 2 years!

what is going to happen after that?...a sla stretched to the max..without the firepower they had in the previous years?...

another unceasing waves?

so the bottom line is that even if the tigers opt for peace now it will only further the militant mindset of the gosl cos it will see it as a sign of weakness.

Yes, thats your definition of LTTE. But, you dont represent 100% of Tamils in Sri Lanka. you may be in the MAJORITY.

BUT, there is a minority,..they want to talk against I think.

I dont say any against GOSL money in Vanni, which is a part of SL. Even LTTE like it or not, GOSL must keep all public services there.

The matter is Vanni admin is not going with the country. money flow is going one way, in most of the cases.

Correct!! GOSL have to pay or Tigers will benefit and call it as a different country.
So its GOSL is benefiting. DBS missed the key point.

Vl,

You are correct.
LTTE think they cant start talk, when they are weak.
But now this matter is well known to the world and even we start talk today to tomorrow, solution will be almost same.

Generally, IC and GOSL has a good regard about LTTE determination. Its enough for them to bargain.

Also, once settle for peace, things can be changed again in future,..say after 50 or 100 years. When the country is develop, no one will care about to divide this small island into two.

Meanwhile, Lt. Gen. Fonseka, Commander visited Pakistan Ordnance Factories, which is the premier defence production complex of the country and considered the lifeline to the armed forces of Pakistan.

Hindians will pay for these factories through recent soft loans.

I don't understand the comparison between Tamil media criticizing LTTE or VP vs..Gosl Barring foreign Media.

when you openly stop foreign Media then your basically accepting your guilt!

I know it will be dangerous but don't you think they know it and willing to take that risk..

How ru going to protect a Foreign Journalist who is registered with u...Won't he face the same risk.
