Nobody can sack any village council or Pradeshia Sabha or dismiss the leader, but, the governor appointed by the Sinhala president can do just that to the Provincial Council or its Chief Minister.
This so called Chief Minister will be a puppet or muppet of the Sinhala president until he gets the sack.

Tyronne Devotta, Deputy Editor with The Sunday Times, was the first journalist from the South to visit the tsunami-battered Wanni, Dec 25, 2004

How many years have passed from Dec 25 2004 to May 8th 2008?
Some morons will claim 6 years. Their mental age must be 2, because even 3 year old can calculate the difference in dates. |

Here is a chance for the Sinhala diaspora to show how patriotic they are in deeds as they have been very loud in words. The poor youths are sacrificed in the name of sovereignty and now a chance for the rich, educated or those claimed asylum in the name of LTTE.
Sri Lanka military seeks funds from Sinhala Diaspora
TamilNet, Thursday, 08 May 2008, 17:49 GMT
The Sri Lankan government has launched a fundraising drive amongst Sinhala expatriates in support of its military. The initiative was formally launched Tuesday at the Sri Lankan High Commission in London and is to be continued in other capitals with Sinhala Diaspora. Several businessmen came forward to contribute towards the UK target of GBP 100,000, press reports said. The Sri Lankan High Commissioner in London, Mrs. Kshenuka Seniwiratne, bought the first ticket in a raffle for the project.

When was the last time Foreign Journalist allowed to Vanni?
In 2002, Schizo Prabha struggled to answer questions for the last time in his life and his stinky mouth piece the late terrorist su..ker Bala answered for him. No more interviews afterwards.
The journalist were scrutinized for 48 hours before entering the conference room and the interview lasted only 45 minutes.
Schizo Prbha was so afraid of assassination attempt even by Foreign Journalist they were not only searched from top to bottom by LTTE carders ,their cameras and equipment were weighed comparing to catalogs.
