My explanation is on old permanent population shifts.

It was the Tamils who appeared on Earth before everybody else! They probably appeared in SL yonks before the Sinhalese did and spread to the other parts of the world, after crossing the bridge with the elephants.

I do not have the exact TN numbers but try this out for size.
There are 5.2 to + - 6 Million SL overseas? That would make it close to 35% of the population,I can tell you 35% of Tamils from TN (450M )are not overseas.
So you go figure out the rest. |
