Seems to me that EElamists are sooo happy about the Burma disaster b'coz of chances of SL not receiving the 50K MT rice-
They seem to forget that some of that rice goes up north as well. :))))
Or are they lying in wait for another rice ship to pass by?
to offer mechanical assistance?
:)))) |

some of them probably crossed the bridge to the continent and settled in far-away places like Burma, Europe, and Africa.
Dr. Jones,
as you are a doctor already and PHD guy, I am scared to discuss with you. However, it is South Indian who moved to many part of the world. According to the American history, it was Indian who first moved there before any other.
They to East Asia, Africa and many other places.
Vijaya is also from India?!! |

Sansare,
How long we depend on others?
Why can't we try to produce the optimum we can and then go to other coutries to buy the food items.
We have to do something to promote Agriculture with new approaches!
(I do not suggest useless recommendations come from the politicians!!) |

MahaDev,
Yes I agree with your point of sending sri lankans to help Mayanmar but do you understand that these poor sri lankans won't come back to sri lanka?
They might even ask for Refugee poltic in Myanmar.
However, Myanmar or UN higher commissioner for Refugeezs won't accept any Sri lankan coming to Myanmar under the pretext of free volunteers.since the civil war is going in Sri lanka Myanmar can not feed all these additional poor sri lankans while their own people need more foods and material aides
