Also, LTTE too must give the utmost importance to the food production of those areas.
NE used to be a food basket of the country until SLA claimed many fertile land as HSZs.
The first step should be to ask SLA to vacate the furtile land immediately. Then, VP's people can start a food drive!

D.S.Senanayake's vision needs to be materialized at full throttle , allow people to cultivate the dry zone to it's maximum capacity. Bring man power from all over the country for cultivation( Tamil refugees in the west can come back and till the land too ).
BTW there will not be any LTTE left even for target practising.

Stay away from Tamil lands...DS started the present troubles by bringing colonizing Tamil Eelam with Sinhalese!
You can materialize DS vision in Matara, Kalutara, Hanbantota... not in NE!

SLA camps are not covering all good crop lands in North.
Anyway, if people think its disturbing them, please ask VP to stop gun culture in those areas.
Can any of you tell what is the land % covered by SLA camps in north..?

What I thought as for most of LTTE here, the Real Tamil Ealam was North and East.

Of course all of NE is Tamil Eelam. But the 'real' power of Eelam is in Kili and Mulaitive. These so-called 'towns' that SLA is claiming are just small mounds. Most of those towns only a few villagers were protecting. |
