Can any one there to tell me why you need to talk with a terrorist organization to give equal rights to your follow citizen?
Tamils are having equal rights in most of the issues.
But, in practical society, there are many weakness and even discriminations. Sri Lanka was in a process to address them but slowly.
LTTE took the advantage and came to present day level by force.
If GOSL settled LTTE at the beginning like they did for JVP killing over 50,000 in 1989, things must be not like today. But, GOSL never went to that level, due to the gravity of the issue.

It is not Tamils but also Americans, EU, IC calling it traditional homeland of Tamils. No matter what would happen, occupying army has to vacate the land sooner or later or they be forced out.

YES.
You forget this, he is the president of Sri Lanka and Srilankans.
Not the president of one group.
If the action is correct, he can go with that.
If its very very wrong, even people will come to streets. |

unforturnately singhala south decided peace talk is very very very wrong and rejected Ranil. period!. Now don't come and say singhalese don't like war and the survey is not properly done and so and so. |

See the reality.
Sinhalese dont like both war and LTTE.
They think LTTE is destroying the country for own need, which has a considerable truth.
But, they respect and love Tamils, as always. See how many of them are living in south.
Ranil is not a capable enough to make a government. LTTE prevented vote once, but he has his won problems too.

It is the proven Sinhala nature that they will find some reason to sabotage any peace with Tamils. If Ranil proposas something MR and SLFP goons go around the South saying Ranil will devide the country. If MR and SLFP does something Ranil and other modayas will do likewise.
Majority of Sinhalayas can be fooled by a few politicians and a few monks... that has been the game since independence. We cannot expect the 2500 year Sinhala culture to change any time soon...Thats why we Tamils have to find our own way..! |

I can understand. When you are in minority, you must keep blaming the majority, which you think very productive. You never look at own errors.
So, we, Sinhalese must have a deep mind to accept Tamil views and act with harmony.

People are suffering for a daily bread how can these sinhalayas support this military government for a long and strong without any result whatosever military campaign?
You can win perhaps this war but you can not win the hearts of Tamils unless you give them their lands back with federal systems. Keept it in your (sinayalays) mind.
Tamils are not so damns fools like you all. |
