The Sinhala support for the Government's military campaign continues to be strong whilst their support for peace talks has dropped to 16.6% according to the results of the March 2008 Peace Confidence Index survey (PCI).

'Sinhala support' is the barometer of the Sinhala media which is largely controlled by the govt or racist in their outlook. People are politically illiterate. Even among the American public 68% supported the Iraq invasion without knowing that Bush govt produced lies to the public about WMD and nuclear enrichment in Iraq. Now 70% are against the war in Iraq.

This opinion survey was carried out in March 2008 before the military defeat in Muhamali in which 182 soldiers died and 400 injured. More body bags will bring the home truths to the people.

Sinhalese people support for governtment's lilitary campaign strong . It is normal.
They are well known people for eating kevun made of manioc like their monks and they have nothing in their head.
Poor people all thee sinhalayas .
Like their leader Duttegemunu they will kill their own parents to have piece of kevun !

So they now support their duttegemunu military gouvernment without any delay in exchange free kiri bath and kevun
while the country is becoming most poverty country worse then African countries.

Yes Perfectly correct. Sinhala will support for Govt. till we eliminate the last LTTE Tiger and its last TAMIL supporter.

After that we support the Govt. to politically eliminate P.Ranil and goons who supported LTTE.

Dear Singhalese do not vote for P Ranil if you want to live in a Terrorist Tamil free country.
