Wayamba,

This type of post are welcome.

I am not a war monger & i never support war anywhere. As a Govt that is more responsible to its citizens, its actions have to be justificable.

The problem with most of the people in Colombo is that they often Compare GOSL With LTTE. You have to be on High ground if you say that you are a responsible State.

But its actions on the ground, i am sorry to say is very poor & hence there are even Foreign govts that Justify the existence of LTTE.

Mahinda Govt has been given too much time for the IC Just becoz it is a State . But actions are now being initiated to start sanctions & aid blocking of money.
This kind of information from Srilanka will make any Govt with press freedom to turn red.
In Sri Lanka, Tamil journalist Munusamy Parameshwari is now 24. She fled her country recently and is in hiding after receiving death threats for several years. Her family was also threatened.

From November 2006 to March 2007, Parameshwari was detained without charge under anti-terrorist laws. Shortly after her release she was abducted and assaulted by several men in uniform who warned her to discontinue her reporting.

Her crime? Parameshwari gathered information for articles that exposed government participation in abductions, as well as other human rights abuses. She is called a terrorist because she belongs to an ethnic group with which Sri Lanka s Government is at war.

In seeking assistance to escape her tormentors, Parameshwari explains she needed to leave Sri Lanka in order to live a fear-free life and regain my self esteem . She adds: The long period of detention and the constant harassment, coupled with the fear for my life, has had a serious impact on my psychological well-being and I am forced to seek counselling in order to function on a day-to-day basis.

These examples are just the tip of the iceberg

I absolutely agree with stupidkaravas, it would be a shame if a once proud mammal such as the Tamil were to be reduced to living purely in captivity. We humans must act now to save this dying species!! Captive breeding is the only way to keep this noble beast from becoming extinct.

Stupidkaravas its funny you should mention that, one of your Tamil females is on heat, I too have been having the same trouble! My local vet suggested spraying the plants with the scent of some other primate (I chose mountain gorrila) and this seems to have kept the demali off my camelias amd roses! You can collect the scent from any vet. Hope this helps!
