DVLADV - This is BS , they were extremely well indoctrinated .
This is subjective: the way I saw it they were thought to lipsing issues not look deep into it.
As for leaders living cushy lives Wejeweera did not lead any more cushy compared with Velu.
What happened to all the money and jewelery looted from banks and people? Even after Wejeweera died they dug out some treasure buried in his house. Everything said about velu are only alligations: no one including me know for sure one way or other, but atleast he has something to show for what ever money he collects. He built a army from zero, well armed and has maintained it for 30 years even after GOSL says it has destroyed so much.

Gaja as you well know all the food fuel and services in the peelam homeland is generously being maintained by the govt
What I know is that the people are leading this maintenance and not the government. The weakening of Tamils outside war zone is through general searches through which Sinhalese armed forces take up higher position with Tamils. Unless you claim that majority of these armed officers are just minded and disciplined - you would admit that many of them are likely to step outside the boundaries of their uniforms - as even Australian Police have done in my case. Are you saying that the Sinhalese Police are more diciplined than the Australian Police? If yes, then you ought to be providing support instead of Australians in war torn areas.

That is like living half the time with your spouse and half with your parents. In other words, you are not able to live with your parents only at mind level. My husband, children and I had the choice of dual citizenship. We CHOSE to be Australian because that needed more work from us - like a spouse does compared to a parent.
I think a lot of sri lankans living abroad specially in Australia/US/UK have dual passport..
U choose to be Australian may be for your own advantage does not mean your right on about this.
SL's prefer to keep their SL passport too even when they get overseas passport for their own identity as SL.
My question again was when

what was that supposed to mean..No one gets a Passport like in Australia just cos you stay and work in HK. so yes..it is purely for money..but after 7 years when you get a permanent ID, you also can apply for a HK passport but the requirement is you have to give up the SL passport
It is very similar to what you have chosen to do in Australia..does that make you as you put it 'one of those who is not sure of your own sexuality..'
U made a choice to be an Australian..why the same rule is not applied to HK passport..Pls explain what is the difference between what you choose to do and what we have in HK.

No,I only agreed with one thing with Gaja.
When she said - JVP is ruling their part of country but not with her other cronic stuff.
She is totally confused but overconfident and also some others get mixed with her of that kind.The hanky panky ones of both sides who are not straight of what they are doing but aprove her for some female mercy. |

Given that you have not provided the reasons why you are disappointed - i.e. - what expectations they did not meet - am I to conclude that you are taking up higher position with me and expect me to get upset because you are disappointed? Are you Berty Anna or Thambi for me in this issue?

In this forum, like some of the members, Gaja has a high tolerance level and very productive in many arguments.
We can learn something while writing with her.
Of course, we dont need to agree always, but ultimately, SL has to deal with people like them for a peaceful settlement.
This exchange of views will not a railway line, that will not meet two lines ever.

When I drive around in California or board a plane when a white cop stops me or takes me out of a line up to search me specifically compared to my white friends because of the way I look I try to understand it as at the end of the day they ensure my safety as well by doing this . I know there may be some of them who are corrupt and racist and do this but most are not .
Am I saying the Sri Lankan police is better , No . But they have to be vigilant in the times we live in . So when I spent 3 hours getting through security in Katu or New York I dont huff and puff but let them do their job.
