The investment our past generations made are written-off as bad. The current generation are only tenants and will only invest when there is assurance that the risks and rewards of ownership will be transferred. Right now only the risk is transferred while the south is plundering the rewards. |

To my mind, when that assurance is needed, we are at business level. Ownership means we work without that expectation of reward at material level - but because it is our home - just like cleaning our home.

Your argument is fawed. Your cleaning the house without knowing why your cleaning it.
Cleaning the house gives you better quality of life and keeps you healthy - Thats the reward.
You could have an accident, you could lose other opportunity for the time spent that could be better that is the risk.
