This is true. The Tamils I know personally (mostly professional) are quite decent people.
I guess the people who actively support LTTE, are people with inferiority complex and low self esteem.
It is unfortunate that the vast majority Tamils get a bad name due a small minority.

They Killed her...Murderers..They kept her for 2 weeks and they don't know her name...
A female LTTE suspect who was in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department for the assassination of senior Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle had mysteriously died after being hospitalised on Sunday night.
The victim who was reportedly in her youth had been taken into custody on suspicion related to terrorist activities and the slaying of Minister Fernandopulle.
She had been detained at the CID office for a couple of weeks for interrogation and had fallen sick on Sunday night, according to police sources. Police Media Spokesman, DIG, N. K. Ilangakoon told yesterday the suspect had developed a fit and was admitted to the National Hospital, Colombo.
She had then succumbed to her ailments. When asked for her name the DIG said she had not devulged that.
