Why don't they release a rebuttal of their charges?
Because they stick to the original charges they made, simple as that.

| Human rights only controlled by LTTE. LTTE decide whether somone has a right to live or not. This is where the problem is. So everytime if something happens to either LTTE or tamil people. Human rights violation. Everytime poor people get killed by bomb blasts riding in the buses, no human rights. |

There is no insult to the great religion Buddhism but the difference between the Buddhisms practiced in Sri Lanka and other countries must be spelled out to make the distinction.
You cannot deny the historical facts that Buddhist monks marched in 1958 to sabotage the peace agreement BC - Pact.
If that agreement was implemented then Sri Lanka would be like Singapore today, self sufficient in almost everything and more than 100,000 deaths and the associated destruction would have been prevented. |
