Why you are so jelous with me? I have earned my money in HK and spending it in Australia...
What is your trouble Dr Green Eye?
No jealousy at all. It is mere sympathy.
The money could be put to better use, buying some rice or some other more meaningful activity.
I have earned my money in HK
Was it in HK or Macao?? |

What do you think of this ?
The Minister of Ports and Aviation Chamal Rajapakse, who inherits the 'Mahinda Chinthanaya' from family, seeks cabinet approval tomorrow (24) evening to pocket Rs. 518.9 million from a tender to purchase 15 rubber tired gantry cranes for Sri Lanka Ports Authority.
There were serious doubts over the deal from the moment the approval was obtained for the cabinet paper in this regard. The selected contractor was provided privileges violating the international tender procedures. Lanka-e-News suspects that there is an effort to pocket a handsome sum of US $ 4,850,419 by few individuals.
What a time to screw up the country when it is being clobbered by the LTTE.
I suppose it is the perfect distraction to squander the nations coffers.
What a wonderful family you have running the country.

Despite claims by the Ministers and senior government officials that there was no shortage of rice, the wholesale traders in Colombo put up their shutters yesterday (23) afternoon claiming they had no rice stocks to sell. Picture shows two shops, one empty and another closed, with the porters sitting on their carts as they had no work. Retail businessmen who went to the Fourth Cross Street had to go back empty handed
MR and Co wanted to divert the attention of the poor people from the rice shortage by showing something in the battle front. Now it backfired. No rice bags, only body bags are coming. |

This is one of the worst battle SLA ever faced during the last two years. It seems this operation is another 'Jayasikumu' and large number of soldiers have already been killed. New recruitments will not help to increase the pressure on LTTE unless we use technology. This is the time all professionals and scientists must help to provide technology to SLA.

After seeing what happened there is nothing anyone can say or do to lift moral. Have you seen the devastation?
90% of the soldiers are in shock and the desertion numbers are sky rocketing.
A lot more recruits are required, any mother's son is welcomed to join and die for the nation.Mahinder's family not included.
They are in the West under going training. |

| Just like the 2006 screw-up I think this was done at the request of Col without any planing. They thought they can make a push into LTTE territory make a big fuss when MR's elder brothers funding bill was going into parliament, shut the opposition but things back-fired. |
