Looking at past history GOSL does not seem to was a just solution.

True.
Even the once reasonable Prof Tissa Vitharane has surrendered his wisdom and reasonableness to blood thirsty Rajapakse brothers and SaDEATH Fonseka.

He produced the failed 13th Amendment and Unitary Constitution as the solution and yesterday admitted he was wrong and promised to come out with Federal Solution, always too little too late.

Yet, we achieve our objective.

full of body bags and collective limbs , so the main goal achieved .

Kilinochchi is gone from LTTE.
yes , like Sarath Fonseka killing LTTE on a daily rate , as far as the stat available , there is no more than 2 or 3 thousand LTTE left , now what ?

This truly is a 'Poor mans war' in every sense!

Almost every war is fought by the rich and paid by the poor whether it is by sacrificing ones life or poverty.

Learn from the past. Can not go back in Time.

It is the same point for GOSl. Can not go back. March all the way to Kilinochchi.

Once Kilinochchi captured, there is no more talk about Wanni.

It will be just like LTTE - pockets here and there all over the Island.

IF Two fronts reach Kilinochchi, Other will engage to reduce reinforcements and to neutralize important other places etc., etc.,

Things will be different.

Does LTTE supported any of the points presented by the GOSl?

No

And Has they ever wanted anything beyond EELam?Federalism. The funniest is the people are talking with out even knowing the meanings.

This is the beginning. Hard to understand but that is the truth.

Sorry to barge in,,

and landing on a prepared beach with enemy waiting(that Wil be the case) is suicide...i Seriously doubt the
viability of the SLA creating a beachhead...after seeing that they are not even able to do any better on a
land-assault with MBT/Arty etc etc...
velir,

I agree that Jaffna lagoon may not be best for an amphibious landing. Perhaps, the East Coast north of Mullativu? A better option is a ceasefire and negotiations! Better stop the killings.

RK

and they could use the 'hammer and anvil' tactic by using the formations on/near the landing area to prepare a welcome for the incoming forces and contain them while releasing detachments from the obvious reserve formations they have on other fronts to deliver the coup-de-grace.

hehehe,, the sla used this tactic during the ltte attack on mullaitivu camp,, the army was landed in alampil beach, almost all of them dead!

Hi guys,
Almost 400 messages on this topic, are you all Napoleons? What is there to talk about a lot of dead people? You cannot change it and you cannot stop it, you just like to talk about it.
