why cant Rajapakse go and fight rather than sending ordinary poor Sinhalese to fight and get killed for an ideology that they barely understand |

So, even 150 killed is nothing and LTTE lost for sure. |

i was under the impression that the SLA retreated to its starting positions!...the pics do show the ltte in command of the trenches again..?

that is not true at all.
If they thouth like since 1200 AD, by now whole Sri Lanka is tamil.
IF they thought like that prior to 2005, PEELam won't shrink. Not it is just just half of Mullativu, half of mannar and Kilinochchi. |

Here is a breakdown on SLA casualties:
50 KIA + 50 MIA + 250 WIA
At least two main battle tanks have been destroyed and another two damaged. Figures subject to change.
There are lot of P1/p2 casualties mainly caused by mines and artillery.
As for LTTE casualties around 50 of their fighters have been killed. (Excluding any casualties caused by three air strikes). These figures may rise.
