Tamilnet exaggeration at least make the Tamil LNP members very happy despite the bleak ground situation for LTTE.
Poor Magha, denial eh :)
In this case every other failed offensive at Muhamaalai, the LTTE nubmers have eventually proven to be correct, so don't hold out too much hope.
Your thugs got a well deserved beating, at least there will be less of them to harass, rape and kill our people in Jaffna.
Best part is this time Ponseka cannot put the blame on anyone else, as he was just there to personally supervise the plans :):) |

Tamil members must not over-joy on this incident. I know, its difficult, since when a lot of LTTE die, some Sinhala members are doing the same.
But, SLA will realized its weak position in north front soon and correct the ground situation.
So, today SLA's possible mistake will turn to LTTE as a bigger fire.
The only thing we must wish is peace and end to the gun culture. |

None of these figures are independantly verifiable. The LTTE and the Govt are known liars.
If 150 were killed how come only 14 ID tags were handed over?

The number may be too high, but number of ID tags is, the bodies LTTE found. A bulk of own dead bodies are with SLA. |

Here is a breakdown on SLA casualties:
50 KIA + 50 MIA + 250 WIA
At least two main battle tanks have been destroyed and another two damaged. Figures subject to change.
There are lot of P1/p2 casualties mainly caused by mines and artillery.
As for LTTE casualties around 50 of their fighters have been killed. (Excluding any casualties caused by three air strikes). These figures may rise.

Pl, dont generalize LNP members.
Talking about peace is important than any other view, at all times.
We must push harder for peace, always.
