war means more money for Rajapakse and CO , more money to swiss bank account ( swiss bank not ding good these days , tell them no guarantee for that money ) , i think CFA is the only product both community could benefit from , war is only good for politician like MRs , LTTE only and only when attacked and defensive war .

It is strange that Terror supporters are taking this loss of 150 SLA like the total defeat of the SLA.
What everyone fails to understand is that SLA is not functioning as a Military on a military mission with proper planning and execution it is performing end-runs on MR's orders.
Airforce can not support the SLA in this trench war because they are fighting at close quarters and all fixed wing AC are jets that are too fast to be accurate.. Helicopters are too slow and the tigers will drop them out of the sky with their rockets and RPG's. T-55 tanks are death traps at close quarters as they have external fuel cells and thinner than ideal armour plating that can be penetrated by high power guns or RPG's
And they had no clue where the LTTE artilery was to neutralize that before it was too late.
Looks like Mervyn Silva planned this offensive..
Shame on Fonseka... If he is a decent general, he would resign his post now and allow someone who is not sleeping with MR to take up his job.
