Basic human needs is been blocked by GOSL, this is a worst human rights violation under UN laws/Inter laws.
At present all eyes focused on Sri lanka, EU/USA,
Tamils eealam strugule is becoming easy with the help of GOSL.
Most of the Gosl ministers dont understand the role of UN and ICRC, when the save a life of a tamil or a tigers they say UN terrorist supporters, They should learn first SL Constitution + Inter Laws too. But Most of them are THUGS start with the name Mahinda, they only know to comment foolishly and make some lankans happy.
Tigers have looked after the injured SL soldiers and allowed ICRC/UN to access them to check their health.
Time to demonstrate more in front of UN in western countries, with the support of AI and other human rights groups, Lets hope they organize in Melbourne so I can join them.

VP can redress this situation by disarming himself and letting the GOSL forces to take control of the Wanni. We have no control over what is happening in Wanni, and i am surprised to hear that so called 'state of art' Kilinochchi hospital is out of medicine while VP has all the money in the world to buy RPGs and claymores for his war machine.

parakum

learn to compare apple to apple!

how about the UN supplying medicine to the north and east tamils DIRECTLY?? why you lot??

note the word:- DIRECTLY.

or

how about the army kindly vacating from the north and east??

During CFA lot of Doctors from West went to Vanni and other areas and helped out and medical supplies were entering. now situation is very bad.

Mate maybe a little better than now, but the criminal Sinhala Buddhist state even then blocked a lot, I know first hand from family friends who are doctors in the US who tried to get supplies in to the NE.

Anyway thank you ICRC for doing what you can despite being hamstrung by the criminal false state.

I recently heard from my close relative who is in the north especialy near the puthukkudiyiruppu, vishvamadu areas, the suffering of the people there is imense, there is incesant bombings and many injured, or children without parent or parents. This is what the animal state does everytime they bomb so called LTTE bases etc etc. They don't get power, meals and supplies too are dodgy. The person does what they can to help these people and refuses to leave, they feel they are where they need to be the centre of the worst suffering.

Why do you think the LTTE have the support of the majority of our people, the animal state can hide it from the world but they can't hide what they are doing to our people from the very victims thenselves, so every one of us will support the destruction of this British created falsehood that has oppressed us for so many decades.

If you leave the ICRC to take medicine thats enough, Not GOSL medicines, BUT UN medicines and medicines bought from tamils funds.

ParakumB,
In US there are 40 million children without health insurance and access to proper health care, and it is the richest nation in the world.

It is still bad policy. In the US, you have this situation because poor people do not have access to the services because the health care system is run for profit. But let's not compare the US to SL.
If the GoSL has any plans or concerns about the well being of the civilians in the north all they have to do is to let the RedCross to set up medical facilities. If the LTTE hijacks the doctors and medicine then that becomes a nice problem to have.

Tigi sis,
how about the army kindly vacating from the north and east??

This seems a child story to me.
Do we have any example in world history, government army is vacating a region, giving it to a terrorist(according to EU, US, and Indian definition) movement?

First step is, stop hostilities, then work together, then the issue about vacating will come.
