Pala Nedumaran, in his address in Paris appealed to the international community to support the Tamil Eelam struggle of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, a separatist Tamil outfit of Sri Lanka.
Though Nedumaran an Indian Tamil, he has never agitated of carving out a separate state of Tamil Nadu out of India, which is a home for about 65 millions Tamils. But he speaks only of setting up of a separate state for the Tamils in Sri Lanka which is a home for less than 3 million Tamils.
What is the business Nedumaran has to do with Sri Lanka.
Sri lankans should ignore this type of trouble makers. No need to engage in any discussion with these outsiders.

Almost all Sinhalese think, Sri Lanka is the country of Sinhalese/Tamils/Muslims. We dont dream about Sinhala only land.
And, politically, even we all agree to separate the country, I am 100% sure, India will never agree with that.
Thats why this 'virtual-mini-state', will never going to be a reality. Already, LTTE put 1000s of Sri Lanka into death for this 'virtual-mini-state'.

Almost all muslims also. Even 80% Tamils I guess.

Yes,..if we think that way, nearly all Tamils in up-country and Colombo are not thinking about Tamil only country. Few of them, may give some indirect helps to LTTE, but not to go and live in TE, even LTTE created one. |
