JVP splits. Supporters Shocked

(Lanka-e-News, 2008 April 08, 7.10 PM) JVP internal crisis came to the surface today (08) with the special statement made by the JVP Parliamentary Group Leader Wimal Weerawansa and a group of MPs held a press conference this evening in Colombo.

MP Piyasiri Wijenayaka and ten other MPs had called the press briefing to mark the protest against the removal of Wimal Weerawansa. But MP Ranaweera Pathirana who participated in it, began to express contradictory views rationalizing the stand of the party leadership creating a pandemonium as the media questioned about the paradox.

A police team led by a Senior Superintendent of Police came to the scene of press conference to accompany MP Ranaweera Pathirana safely back to the party headquarters. When media enquired who sent police, they said that MP Anura Kumara Disanayaka requested it.

Nandana Gunethileka says `He further said that the breakaway has shocked the JVP and such thing never occurred in the party history.`

From what i know there are soo many Nizams in SL. BTW - my name is not really Nizam. I would never put my real name here :).. I assume your talking about that Mental case who writes on Lankaweb.com called AAM Nizam from matara?? First of all - that Joker does not live in matara. He lives in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from what i know.

See Aney D.. like i said last week - you people (Punnakku Supportes and LTTE supporters) are not very different. For Punnakku supporters anyone who doesnt bow down and lick the BUffalo A...S is a traitor and a terrorist. For LTTE supporters anyone who doesnt down down and lick VPs a..s is a traitor to the 'tamil cause'.. So i really dont know how to respond to you or a mental case like AAM nizam..

	Aneeyyy Deee: HAKEEM is the most RACIST muslim and to get rid of him. To me the TWO MOST RACIEST Leaders in the country are VP and MR. AAM NIzam is a first class BUffalo BOOT licker. People like AAM NIzam (MR supporters) and LTTE supporters have no right to call anyone else racist. Yes Hakeem is playhing the race card for political gain but NOTHING compared to VP and MR!!
