Sansare
Wars cannot positively discriminate religious places, if the enemy occupies a church it will inevitably be a target.
Black marks don't matter at the end of the day, but the might against the enemy! |

Sri Lanka Army fired shells, rounds hit Madu Shrine..
This Army fellows may be thinking that Holy Shrine of Madu is similar to a Pansala, the people worshiping the tooth and hair..
The Holy Lady of Madu will not close the eyes like Buddha and sleep under the Boga tree..
It is a very powerful place, the sinners will be punished very badly within no time..
So,the war mongers must not be play around like what they are doing in the Buddha cemetery.. |

Of course they are natives of South
Where we draw the line to divide this North and South..?
500m contour line is fair, but unfortunately its going around the central hills.
Then a line along a river..? Not possible, as all are starting from the center.
Then the old district or province lines..?
We know, people are not live within admin boundaries.
Its a single land mass, a country.
When the matter settle, and if the development comes to the country, people will soon forget this problem.

If a big damage occurred, its again a black mark to Sinhalese, finally.
Oh, man... give us a break...sansare!
Sinhalese are so unblemished and this 'one' black mark will make the whole world coming against them? Is that what you want to say?

Cey,
Ethically, GOSL must responsible to protect those places at any cost. It must not equal to any other party on that matter.
Also I think, its more productive to the country if SLA avoid hitting near Madu. Anny success through the demolition (which may be a trap of LTTE), will soon waste in front of LTTE propaganda.
