Whether you like to believe this or not, local media sometimes show footages of LTTE surrendees and their rehabilitation. If Sinhalese had hatred and revenge in their hearts they could have well killed them.
Even now, TVMP cadres are so vulnerable, Govt could have killed them in one sweep if they wished for revenge. Instead they are offered the option of running for elections!
So much for revenge and Hatred of Sinhalese (like what pharaoh likes to believe....man he's dodo!).
I'm not trying to paint Sinhalese as Angels, but we have notoriously short memories, and this Buddhism has mellowed us Sinhalese down a fair bit...so I hope LTTE takes advantage of it and follow TVMP's example.

When LTTE was controlling Madu Area for the past 4 years, this Rayappu had no issue with it.
It was not LTTE controling Madhu area, it was the natives of the area just minding their business and governing themselves.
Now, an outside army is threatening the natives' way of life and peaceful self-governing of their land.
