I know a lot of people who has no hatred towards tamils. I have absolutely no hatred towards Tamils...BUT I AM a Gonnamba.
I know a lot of people who have no hatred towards Sinhalese and I absolutely have no hatred towards Sinhalese as a people.
This does not mean a thing. |

the inaction of moderate Sinhalese is a major contributing factor that SL is in a mess now
there are extremists in every society, so you cant blame a small section of extremists for all the problems
in UK or other countries, the average native will condemn racism in all its form and not allow extremists prosper
but in SL, the average Sinhalese (moderate) do nothing when Sinhalese extremists go about their routine, and this allows extremists to prosper. their inaction is almost like a motivating factor for racists

I agree many Tamils live there.
But when you go from overseas they come for money or abduct you. You wont understand because it doesn't happen to you. Gotabhaya has direct connections with these things.
As for you going to Vanni or Jaffna as long as you go as armed oppressors you have to fear for your safety.
Besides you are talking about a government and a guerilla outfit in the same manner. Isn't it the duty of a government to uphold law and order?

I somewhat agree with you on this one. From what these guys are saying, there is a deep hatred towards all Singhalese.

I, for one, having lived among the Sinhalese during my childhood, have nothing against them. Sometimes, when responding to idiotically racist comments, I might stoop down for fun.
Having said that, Tamils do realy have issues with GoSL. This GoSL is being elected with majority votes and this is where Tamils get frustrated. If the majority elect a govt that is sincere in resolving the matter, LTTE will go away in no time..! |

SO, you approve tamils racists continued killings of Sinhala People and the Soldiers because you want your political demands.
Why did you select the small island of Sri Lanka which has only 3.2 million tamils while Most of 80 million tamils are living out side.
Why don't you select TamilNAdu which has 60 million.
SL is in a MEss right now because Sinhala people accommodated Racist tamils. They should have treated minorities exactly the the way that Western countries qre treating them.
DO you a portion of the UK FLAG for tamils. Do you get all the bills and administrative duties in TAMIL ???????
But, in Sri Lanka you want every thing in Tamil and a separate area for tamils too.

NOt, GOSL is Sinhala dominated and because you are the minority your voice is dominant.
Other wise, NOTICE that SINHALA PEOPLE HAVE issues with tamils but you tamils contineously kill us since 1984. |
