I do not approve of it, and white van are probably one reason why LTTE's able so easily canvass HR lobbyists
Anyway LTTE plays a dirty war, and therefore its naive to expect Govt to play it clean too.
However, a Govt is a Govt, and it has to act more responsibly. A good way to clean up the act is sack the police hierarchy that is utterly corrupt to the core. I have spoken on this regards before, and therefore, there is no 'general indifference' as you chose to put it.

I did not discuss religion per se. I discussed the undue place of religion in public life in SL. I did not insult any religion. I don't see anything wrong in it. Unless we tell our Sinhala friends what hurts us and why we don't feel that we belong, they will never know. If they don't know they cant fix it:))
