Referring to comments in the Report with regard to the list of 355 alleged disappearances submitted by the US Ambassador, it was pointed out that it borders on the ridiculous, given the satisfaction expressed by the US Embassy itself on the efforts made to trace these people. 23 of them are well and alive. With regard to over 120, no complaints have been made to the police. A number of persons appear to have left the island. Investigations are continuing.

Thanks for the explanation. I think the only way to bring equality is to remove all clauses which give preeminence to one group.

If you dont respect all religions at same level, I suggest not to comment on religion topic.
Buddhism is one of the finest religions. My comment has nothing to do with Buddhism, but the way it is practised in Sri lanka, as Aani's story exemplyfies (assuming it is true).
I used the word Buddhistan in a sarcastic way. I am sorry for that (Migara too), but the truth of the matter is that you fellows do not seem to see anything wrong with mistreating other religions or favoring Buddhism by hurting minority feelings. As long as such domination continues, minorities would not feel being part of one country!
