When Indians can forget assasination of INdira & accept a Sikh PRime minister after 25 years , why dont you think it is possible for India to talk with LTTE ?
the Sikhs as a people didn't plot to kill her, the LTTE as a terror organization did it with the help of many many many Tamils in TN and elsewhere..thats why.
Indira was killed by a Sikh body guard that took upon himself to avenge the Golden temple massacre. Rajiv was different. It was calculated move to prevent anymore Indian intervention in the LTTE-GOSL conflict. Taking out Rajiv was meant to keep India out of SL politics. |

Though Manmohan Sing is a Sikh, he is not a terrorist, unlike the LTTE who are a bunch of murderers, crooks and terrorists!
Indians are not fools as the LTTE thinks!

Chennai Bro,
We have great respect for India and its people.
As a Tamil speaking minority we have deep root connected to the great India. But we hurt because India has made BIG mistakes which have lead to killing of thousands of peoples in Sri Lanka.
A non violent preaching great country like India officially armed LTTE at a time when India could have intervene and put pressure on Sri Lankan leaders solve the issue
When that strategy failed, ordered the same official to eliminate LTTE & its leader
When it was back fired alienate themselves, when the whole world involved in making peace in Lanka.
In my views if India takes positive steps this war could be over within few months. It will never happen. Because India in its own mindset of supper power and does not care about Tamils in India or Sri Lanka.

In addition it is reported by IPKF general that rajiv wanted praba killed as well

But still i am not sure whehter any GOSL school had english medium in late seventies/ eighties/ early nineties...out of colombo atleast.
you said it!! You are not sure...see during the times you mentioned, SL had an excellent education system. Students excelled in all fields. Didn't students from Jaffna and elsewhere in the north enter uni and become intellectuals? Didn't students from the south enter uni studying in their own tongues?
So please, like I said, leave this Sinhala Only nonsense. people like tigress and Thivya are the only ones who are stuck on that track here, please don't join them. This country has bigger problems that then 'Sinhala Only' nonsense. |
