what to do we studied in moda sri lanka..when they made sinhala only & ignored english
Those who studied in this country are serving the nation and the world. Those who studied in Sinhalese are working well in English...
Sri Lankan is not a 'MODA' country. we cannot help that your IQ level is low. Nothing to do with the country!
...China is learning in Chinese...look where they are today...Africa is learning in English..also look where they are...
IT IS A MUST THAT WE LEARN IN MOTHERTOUNGE IF WE WANT TO PROGRESS IN THE WORLD.

dont compare apples to oranges....why china is better is totally different scenario..
just walk on shanghai roads...u can see 'english class' places every 100 meters.
U MUST LEARN THE MOTHER TONGUE TO KEEP YOUR IDENTITY...TO SURVIVE IN WORLD You MUST LEARN ENGLISH THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE
u guys wont agree..SWRD made sinhala ony for sinhalese & send anura to oxford...after that when anura spoke in english you guys opened your mouths & waited.

concerning to english...it stopped english medium schools....which are back again i SL as int'l schools.
Non of the national or global scale intellectuals were produced in those International Schools. They are mere tution classes.
Only Sinhalese and Tamil medium schools have produced people whom Sri Lanka is proud to talk of!

Yes...so can in Sri Lanka. But the point you have missed is, they learn in Chiense. English is just a second language for them.

But that's why Sinhalese and Tamil speaking communities were not idiotic enough to make him the leader. That's why Ranil also will never become a leader. They are just too foreign for us.
