Exactly my point. Nobody in his right senses can defend VP for his gross crimes against Humanity.
The (undoubtedly) many imperfections Sri Lanka has pales in to insignificance when VP is factored in.
That's why you guys become jokes whenever you whine about SL. Because you can't defend the indefensible for long. Ultimately, even people like you end up like Devils Quoting the Scriptures! :))
That's why people like you conveniently leave out VP/LTTE's handiwork whenever hooting about SL.
So put your community's house in order first, before you think you are fit to preach us about Paradise.
Once the house is in order, rest assured we will lend a more patient ear to you.

FYI, not only the Tamils, but also Sinhalese cannot move around in SL without an ID! Don't forget they all are Sri Lankans!

Sri Lanka is a Buddhist country by constitution. Please read the first few articles of the constitution.
This is what the Sri Lankan constitution say
Buddhism.
9. The Republic of Sri Lanka shall give to Buddhism the foremost place and accordingly it shall be the duty of the State to protect and foster the Buddha Sasana, while assuring to all religions the rights granted by Articles 10 and 14(1)(e).
This is what the Norwegian Constitution say.
The Evangelical-Lutheran religion shall remain the official religion of the State. The inhabitants professing it are bound to bring up their children in the same.'
The King shall at all times profess the Evangelical-Lutheran religion, and uphold and protect the same
In Norway Evangelical-Lutheran is the religion of the State.
Do the Tamils living in Norway feel that they are being discriminated?

Tamils in Norway are not at all discriminated because they are all Evangelical Luterans now because they cannot practice Hinduism or Catholisism in Norway! |

...who told you so? We have Russian and Israeli made planes, Chez made rockets, Pakistani made bombs and Irani guns and bullets....
...India didn't give any wepons...so who lost?...now India does not have say in the conflict...simple as that...
Infact it is hidden hand of india that LTTE is worried more abt than your running soldiers.
...hidden hands of India are being exposed right now. They have been helping LTTE than worrying them, despite LTTE killed Rajiv Gandhi...The hidden hands are becoing helpless now.
The estrangement between india & LTTE will disappear when there is decisive victory for LTTE.
This has been promised for a long time. So far no decisive victory for them...and nor will there be in the future!
Remember you have to defeat LTTE comprehensively which even IPKF was not able to do whereas they have to only settle for stalement in battle field.
...that's why Sri Lankan forces and weopns from our friends have prooven sucessful than so called Indian tactics...
IPKF came, got killed and went...lost Rajiv...
SLA liberated East and is gaining ground in North
...You loose and we win...Simple!...

You must understand the problem in Sri lanka is more complex than you think.
We have three tamils speaking minorities.
a) Tamil speaking Muslims
b) Tamil speaking Tamils from NE
c) Tamil speaking Indian origin Tamils in Hill country
When the other two communities (a & c) can live peacefully with majority, why one community cannot do??
Believe it or not the fighting tamils (from NE) are the most privileged ones when compare to the life style of other two.
If you are really a Indian Tamil form Chennai, please raise your voice for the less privileged Indian origin tamils living in Up Country under the Shackles of Thug politicians (from their own community)
