Stupid SLA forces you know, they allowed a contractor to use Tamils as labourers and they ended up being LTTE spies who used the opportunity to spy and then attack A'pura camp. Now the SLA forces does it themselves and use Tamils to clean up to give first hand info of their camp layouts to LTTE, and see the thing is tamilnet crying.
any ideas?

LTTE sihalayas would have eleminated the tamil race.
LTTE is why the Tamils are getting eliminated.!!
If no one didn t (LTTE) waged war on Sinhala they will have no one to fight with!

We are better off without the LTTE
Only positive point in this article is that he doesn't believe in LTTE.
However the root of problem is still there in this article. Eelam & Homeland concepts.
Until Tamil politicians have political ambitions for themselves this problem will not go away. Satisfying political ambitions of Tamil politicians will not bring peace to Sri Lanka.
In a multi cultural society like Sri Lanka, it is only the moderate leaders that can unite all communities and win the confidence of the 99% majority can deliver goods.
Think Sri Lankan is the solution.
Satisfying extremist Tamil politician will not bring peace to Sri Lanka.
In simple terms, the aspiration of 99% majority is to have a family, a job and a peaceful live. In other words the political aspiration of 99% majority of Tamils, Sinhalese & Muslims etc is to have a family, a job and a peaceful life.

Come on, man... there is lots of hatred between Tamils and Sinhalese in SL. Why did Sinhalese burned Tamils alive? you remember that, I assume.
When people lose sense anything can happen specially in anger or in destructive emotions.
However it is random.
Have you heard son killing father or mother. Wife killing husband etc.
Human beings by nature are quite complex.
If you take the big picture, Sinhalese & Tamils are quite close despite this war.

Do you know more sinhalease killed by Sinhalease (Army) than LTTE in 1989/1990. Can you disagree?

1) this is not a new thing. There were many incidents and reports seen in this kind. Infact a very common occurrence rarely hits the news lines.
2) It is wrong and against the human rights.
3) Military use this for terrorizing and revenging people
3) It is also a chance to ordinary person to knows about internal details of a camp.
4) This will makes ordinary person to go aggressive against military thus benefits LTTE
5)This will also completely ruin any relationship (if any) between locals and the camp.
6)Information is vital. Any minor detail is valued by times.
7)Some lazy SLA members want to have ride on civilians. Let it be. But the price they will pay may be much higher later days.
7)HSZ is something not for public visits or access freely. |

I think the LTTE is the worst thing that happened to the tamils . If not for them there probably would have been a meaningful semi federal solution for this problem .
What that guy is telling in his article is really true . There is no way india would have allowed this blood bath if not for all the stupid things the LTTE has done to prove to the world how unreliable and manic they are .
I dont really understand how the LTTE has helped the Tamil cause at all . They have ensured the educational levels have been taken back to the stone age for the tamils they control .
If the Govt can make what they are doing in the east into something that works it will be great .
By the way you peelam guys we dont really want to rule you , We just want to live in peace . |

...no...I do not disagree...in fact...I agree...
...but the situation is different now...Army is fighting to defeat LTTE, which is created by imperialists to destroy real Tamil and Sinhalese liberation movements.
...LTTE already crushed a number of other Tamil liberation movements...they have seperated Sinhalese movements from Tamils over the period...
It is very much justified...distruction of the divisive forces...
We can only fight together...
