More than 50 LTTE cadres are believed to have been killed along with five soldiers in fresh clashes between the LTTE and the army in the areas of Mannar, Weli Oya and Vavuniya over the weekend after a lull of few days in the North-East battlefield due to the continuing torrential rains.

The war will be finished before the Sinhalese New Year!!
Oh Yes! Definitely. Of the 3000 so far about 2400 have been killed and the remaining 600 would be finished off within two weeks at the current killing figures averaging about 50 a day!
What I cannot understand is why we need the 5 new Mig29s in this urgency? To fight whom? 600 backbroken tigers?

Pakistan new Prime Minister wants to stop the blood letting in the name of War on Terror and talk to the religious extremists to seek a peaceful solution. In US too new contenders to the president want to talk to Iran, Syri, Hamas and Al Queda. In UK the advisors to the govt want to talk to Al Queda to seek a solution.
But in Sri Lanka the president and his brothers together with Sareth Fonseka want to kill as many Tamils and soldiers as possible with the delusion that military jingoism will suppress the minorities which in turn will enable them to force their 13th Amendment and Unitary Constitution down the throats of remaining quislings. |

No solution possible without LTTE South Africa
Some humans are driven by the animal instincts to kill and destroy. They refuse to learn from the past or from other civilised countries which resolved their ethnic problems peacefully and live in harmony. |
