They don't really want it but they will not accept it openly in a forum and that too to a Tamil..We should accept that view.
If You talk to most of the sri lankans they will all accept the Gosl is doing a good job in the WAR front..(whether it is TRUE or not) but they will curse the Government for the cost of living etc..
This happens whether it is MR/Ranil or anyone else.. |

SL was walking between two lines for 50 years and now you elected a government that has screwed the economy, trade and agriculture. If this is what democracy is: do you really want it?
This is the worst thing SL experiences in all these years. But, at least, people can again change MR.
And the other point is, generally, people give vote for the performances or the promises.
The honesty of the winning party, and the practicability to keep the promises are changing always. People suffer a lot, but as long as governments conduct elections, IC give the back to each government.
When things are going bad, may be even early elections are on cards.
Remember, I never said family-corruptions of this MR government is going any good to the country. But, its the one elected by people since Ranil was not good enough and LTTE wanted MR. |

Believe me they swear at the GOSL than we do. I was in SL last Aug and I normally call at least once a week.
Yesterday I was talking to a friend in SL and just to make conversation I asked whether the electricity price was going up and I heard enough including the price each type of rice. LOL |

We all know what politicians do when they get on the Stage and deliver their political speeches with all kind of promises..People keep on falling for the same thing over and over again.
All these years we have seen a small amount Thuggery involved on Election Time..but what we are seeing we are sure to have bloodshed and Vote rigging in the next election..MR will win it by doing everything wrong..
SL will be a DICTATORSHIP for a long time and it will be among the Rajapakse's
so sansare..what is the difference between VP and MR in your words?

DVL, I was in SL in last Jan.
We know, cost of living is going so high, and GOSL is giving a try to hang on the war and cover-up these heavy prices.
But, here we are talking about why LTTE is seeking to talk with GOSL. They are not going to talk to bring-down rocketing food and power prices.
Request came from own needs of LTTE.
The news was on PTI service, so its not punnakku I think. |
