Russia can do that if they want.
As gonnamba implied in SL case the IC will get involved if there is something for them. Its the same with Russia: it would mean the cost benefit. Loosing Kosovo is not material but it wont want to loose many of its own regions so it will make enough noise as a deterrent but is not going to do any thing material that would make a difference to Kosovo.
Remember Russia was supporting Yugoslavia when NATO landed: what did it do other than mouthing-off? |

As far as I know, Yugoslovia was the only country that USSR did not involve with. Titov kept that as a non-aligned country.

Whole world is against them and against seperation.
So they have to face election where Velu and them cannot come out.
There are bunch of freedom fighters who love elections
and power for leading Srilankan Tamils,Muslims ,Sinhalese.

of the Slavs in the Balkan region. Czar of Russia is considered the political leader of the Orthodox church, and Serbs expect Russians to step in and bail them out in a war like situation. Weak Russia under Yeltsin resulted the disintegration of Yugoslavia, but Putin understands his role in the region. He will not let the Germans and EU to intimidate Serbs. |

Tamils were the first to understand that Sri Lanka was a small island govt, Sinhala people were a minority under the 60 million tamil NAdu tamils and it is difficult to bully INDIAN CENTRAL GOVT.
So, they began the FAKE struggle in Sri Lanka. since then they sacrifice Sinhala Peoples' blood for KALI and VELU. |

There is 100,000+ serbs in Kosovo estimated over 5%. How many muslims and sinhala are in the stolen terror land of racist peelam ?

Peace-loving Sinhalese and Muslims are most welcome to live in tamil Eelam, but not now. Because LTTE has to safe guard their well being, which is really difficult under current circumstances..! :P

This is not a bad thing. In case the N/E separates GOSL will not have a large population in this region that it could train and arm to disrupt development.
