Severe food shortages, severe arms and ammo shortages, severe cadre shortages, severe demoralisation among the cadre, severe defections, leader sick and minus one leg and facing a leadership revolt BUT still our Forces are in and around Mannar since July '07 far from Mullaitivu and Killinochchi AND the Madhu region. Mokada danne nehe?

Some people don't want to finish the war too quickly because their sources of income will dry up.

I feel for them specially the kids , but what to do, its a war out there , and people do get killed. If not by bullet there are somany other ways. VP must be held responsible for all those innocent kids.He is the one monster who created all these trouble.

It has been confirmed by many independent reports

Now that is interesting! Who are these 'independant reporters'? BBC, CNN, AFP etc etc? As far I am aware no reporters who are considered to be 'independant properly so called' are allowed into the war zone for 'obvious reasons'.

So who are these 'independant reporters' and how independant are they?

If actually these letters are 'true' I cannot immagine the LTTE superiors of this cadre allowing such letters to be sent out! They would be scrutinising each and every letter for sure. The cadre would have been shot and killed if actually such content was put in a letter, knowing the ruthlessness and inhumanity of the LTTE.

Only barbarians use food as a weapon. Closing A9 has already made suffer from lack of food and medicine. On top of starvation constant aerial bombing driving civilians to seek refuge in India and the South of SL.
