Can you spare 122 min this weekend?

Saturday, 15 March 2008 - 4:06 AM SL Time

No Country for Old Men is a 2007 American thriller film written and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen, starring Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee Jones, and Javier Bardem.

No Country for Old Men tells the story of a drug deal gone wrong and the ensuing cat-and-mouse drama, as three men crisscross each other`s paths in the desert landscape of 1980 West Texas.

No Country for Old Men has been highly praised by critics. Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times called it `as good a film as the Coen brothers have ever made.`

A Guardian journalist said the film proved `that the Coens` technical abilities, and their feel for a landscape-based Western.

It won four Academy Awards (2008), including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

You can find it any rental store.

Aani,

I can't spare 122 minutes this week end.

Try next week! :)

You won't be disappointed!

GG,

I like TLJ in action

Tommy Lee Jones has a small part in this movie. He does not do any chasing or even shooting. As title of movie suggests, he is an 'old man' and he has 'no country'. He just gives up pursuing killer and retires.

BitterTruth,

I like to support the movie industry, it is prudent to buy or rent original. Downloading will kill the movie industry. :)
