Imap Malaya,

Does this chap have any cooking skills? Cooks/chefs are in high demand even here in Australia. The money's pretty good too

I will ask about this and thanks for info. Will forward everyone's answers to Mr. Ekanayaka.

---------

KosalaBC,

There must be colleges in Lanka teaching plumbing, welding and electrician, if he can he should study one those courses, then try to immigrate, he will find it easy that way

Thanks a lot for the input. Have to find if there is a school teaches these thing..This kid is from Bibile and may be he doesn't know all these ideas. Now I got lots of interesting ideas from members so I'll send them this..

-----------

Berty,

No.he found you the job..he created it and he pays

No. Whatever you say I don't believe in God. I believe in myself ,if I work hard I make my money.

In scientific world it is question if he really exit. Think about cloning, artificial insemination, test tube babies , and all the procedures we do becoming more and more questionable if man was made by God .

Where is God when all bad things happen to human?? Did he went to hiding??

Here is the answer..
Why does God let bad things happen in the world?

This question is probably as old as religion itself. It is a stumbling block for some of us, and for many more at given moments of tragedy. There are as many answers to this question as there are people who care to engage in theological dialogue. One understanding is that yes, God allows 'bad' things to happen God does not cause them to happen.

Most 'bad' things which happen do so because God gives a radical freedom to God's people we are free people, not puppets on a string. But God does not cause 'bad' things to happen. God loves us and grieves with us in our pain when 'bad things' happen.

Therefore, we might best respond by saying that God does not Will 'bad' things to happen in life. Rather, 'bad' things happen in the freedom that comes with the gift of life. When 'bad' things happen to any of God's children, God is grieved and suffers with us, experienced most vividly in the hurt and suffering of Jesus the Christ for all humanity. Any 'bad' thing which happens is never the last word. Rather, God is the deepest and last word, and that word is love and eternal life with God.

Believing there's no God stops me from being solipsistic. I can read ideas from all different people from all different cultures. Without God, we can agree on reality, and I can keep learning where I'm wrong. We can all keep adjusting, so we can really communicate. I don't travel in circles where people say, 'I have faith, I believe this in my heart and nothing you can say or do can shake my faith.' That's just a long-winded religious way to say, 'shut up,' or another two words that the FCC likes less. But all obscenity is less insulting than, 'How I was brought up and my imaginary friend means more to me than anything you can ever say or do.' So, believing there is no God lets me be proven wrong and that's always fun. It means I'm learning something.

Believing there is no God means the suffering I've seen in my family, and indeed all the suffering in the world, isn't caused by an omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent force that isn't bothered to help or is just testing us, but rather something we all may be able to help others with in the future. No God means the possibility of less suffering in the future.

Believing there is no God gives me more room for belief in family, people, love, truth, beauty, sex, Jell-O and all the other things I can prove and that make this life the best life I will ever have.

Why does he want to go to USA when Sri Lanka is the best country in the world to live in? Unpatriotic people like Mr.Ekanayake should be taught a good lesson.

Sorry. The story did not say anything about the Bibile project or that he was a teacher. I don't know about the Bibile project. Anyway, if he is a fine teacher why should Americans get the benefit of his teaching? He should be rewarded with a fine salary in Sri Lanka.

I have a real life story to share with all of you guys.

My last company I worked in Sri Lanka, We had a guy to help in day to day activities such as going to the bank, post office ect. In other words 'an Office aid'.In his free times, he was more interested in what we were doing? Always hanging around us asking questions and so on. We also explained him the stuff and one day he came and said, 'I am leaving the company'. Puzzled by that we asked why? He said 'I am staring a course, a web designing course'. We whole heartedly congratulated him and promised to support him through his course and for the good part of the company, they promised to hire him back when he finished the course. After couple of months I left Sri Lanka and lost contacts with the guy. Couple of years later, I got an email from him asking whether I remember him, of course I did. He had finished the course and was working as a web designer. One of my friends had met him in Sri Lanka and has given my email. I was very happy for him and still I am. He is one of the best and leading web designers in Sri Lanka now.
