As a loyal 'Eelamist' don't believe this false propaganda campaign by the racist Govt and Sinhalese. GOSL is trying to discredit and insult LTTE and its heroic leadership. LTTE only made a testicular withdrawal and did not loose East as claimed by GOSL propaganda. Statement made by Jane s Intelligence Review that 'LTTE decline was inevitable' is also false.

IT is a very difficult process to establish democracy in an area for decades only knew the RULE WITH THE T - 56 and the CLAYMORE.
So, this election was a great triumph in that direction.
Eventually, that area will be free of guns.
People need to see that. |

Obviously, our country has a law and order problem, and it is a direct result of the terrorist problem we are facing. Psychology of the people have been changed by seeing death and destruction around them. Our main concern should be the getting rid of the terrorist menace, and the other problems can be taken care of after wards.

In 2004, the local Tiger general, Vinayagamoorthi Muralitharan, known as Karuna, defected to the government.
After the LTTE retreated from the East the Government discarded Karuna and promoted more easily manipulatable Pillaiyan and smuggled the former into Britain by duping its High Commission into issuing him a diplomatic visa. Such is the calibre of the SL govt and its ministers. |
